40 Year Old Tawney Port
(aged 40 years in wood)
This product of Portugal is an incredible example of an old Tawny port. A rarity, as few houses will make a 40 year old tawny. This wine is olive gold in colour with rich caramel, butterscotch, hazelnut flavours. The concentration in this port also produces a wine with amazing length, which lingers beautifully in the palate.
I did this for an Art and Wine Gallery we are putting on at work.
I hope you all enjoy. I got a kick out of doing this because the wine that I got to illustrate is from Portugal and I am Portuguese!
So yes... lets all "holla back" now.
