Today JK Rowling announced on her site that the seventh Harry Potter novel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will be published on Saturday July 21, 2007.
I am both very excited and saddened by this announcement. Yes that is right folks, today I was "Emo"
My friend Matt put it perfectly, "its like knowing a friend is visiting.... for the last time"
I am excited to finally to wrap up the series. But if it were up to me I would have preferred a fall/holiday release. The week before its published the movie comes out, and the week after s Comic Con. I am just going to OD on nerdness in July. I doubt it can be healthy.
And I like doing stuff for PotterCast and The Leaky Cauldron so I don't want that to stop anytime soon.

I love the pic! And I must say AHHHHHH! LOL... I've been emo since they announced the date. Totally not ready... but what can one do? Must read it... :)
