The Four Founders

Some doodles I did this week while in meetings, recording and other such things. Well really just those two things, it's just that it sounds so much better and impressive when you make a list of three things.

Well if you cant tell its some VERY loose doodles of the the four founders of Hogwarts. I love them to death. I wish we could have learned more about them. Well I suppose there is always The Scottish Book.




I was gonna draw his sword but then suddenly I didn't.

Poor Godrick didn't get his sword but fancy Ms-Priss. Rowena got her precious diadem!


The snake is not sick.

I doubt these will turn into anything. Maybe one day they will, but no promises.

VERGE Gallery

Here are two paintings I did for the new study at church, “Sermon on the Mount”. I was, and still am, very excited to participate in the arts ministry at church. They got a bunch of artists who wanted to volunteer their time and talent to illustrate, paint, take pictures etc. about the different topics addressed on the sermon on the mount. I went for humors take on this one.

Adultery | Matthew 5:27-30

This one more serious, but fun. I got to illustrate a powerful concept of guarding your heart by cutting the canvas (I love cutting canvas, it's the kid in me doing something I "shouldn't").

I don't really want to take alot of time explaining them because I hope they are clear in and of themselves. Do me a favor and read the corresponding verses and tell me if you get them. I hope I made them clear but not too... shallow.

Superhero Quarterly

Here is my entry for the Project Rooftop Contest, Superman: Man or Style that I mentioned in a previous post. Because of the Style Nature of this contest I went with a GQ or fashion magazine vibe. I did the Cover and then the first page layout. I wanted to write a little mock story but I ran out of time.

Superman: Man of Style

Project Rooftop is having another competition, Superman Man of Style, and this time I am gonna play! Here are some sketches I did last week while subbing a History class. I didn't get to color them all, and ironically I am going with the one I didn't color for my final illustrations.

Relapse

This past week I fell off of the bandwagon. Thats right I drew cats again. Not just regular cats, but cats in all their glory. Magical and superpowered alike!

It started with this one while going to a training session for RFKC.


And then I got excited and had to draw some X-men cats. If only I could find some of the drawings from back in the day when i drew these types of things all the time. Maybe thats what I will do tomorrow.... hmmmmmmm. :)



And then I couldn't help but do a Fantastic Four version.



It was fun. I felt like I was 15 again. :P

Senior Prank Gone STUPID!!

Good thing I left for class early this morning to get coffee, because there was a bomb scare this morning at Sunny Hills High School. It was...interesting. I am sure it was a senior prank, and that seemed to be the census amongst the staff, but there is protocol to be followed and every room and locker had to be searched. By the time the searching was complete the parking lots were filled with paper mashay boat wielding students anxious to leave and only 15 minuets left in the first period of the day. You can imagine the calm and orderly fashion in which the students handled this situation.

Another One Bites the Dust

I filled another sketch book, it took me about 4 months-ish.
Which is what it used to take me in college, so I am very happy with myself.

Church Notes | Sex Love & God: week six and seven

Been a busy last couple of weeks.





It was a really good series, I got a lot of out of it. The Lords timing is quite profound.
