Church Notes | Tent Making

Paul devoted his life to the gospel, but that isn't all he did. He was a tent maker, and I suspect he did it as unto the Lord. What do I do? What tents do I make? I record a Podcast, I am a teacher and substitute, and I am an Illustrator to name a few. I pray that the tents I make are well done and made as unto the Lord.

Forgive my dismissive heart and impatient mind Lord. Thank you.

Random Doodles

These are some random doodles I did during a class at my Church.
I drew some guy using fire magic. I may have been talking about Avatar that day, but I am not sure.

LeakyCon 2009

LeakyCon was awesome! It was awesome for many many reasons. Two of which were the premiere of the Finding Hogwarts Trailer. John and Bre did an awesome job! So cool!



The second was that I got to talk about art and drawing and Harry Potter all at the same time. I had two drawing sessions/talkings, one for anyone, and another for the Youth programing. Where we all drew a House Elf.

All of the Wizard Wrock was great. The Ball was a blast! Seeing wizards from all around the world was amazing!! But the cherry on top of a weekend full of cherries was hanging out with Michael Goldenburg! For 3 plus hours I got to talk to and pick the brain of an actual working Screenwriter. But not just any screenwriter one who had the honor of translating my favorite harry potter book to the silver screen! He was so awesome, we got to nerd out on Potter.

Church Notes | Singleness

Singleness is a gift you can give back to God. That is something I forget on a regular basis, in stead of aching over what I don't have and what is not known to me yet I need to look at the benefits of being single. I can devote my life and efforts to Christ with out any other concern but Christ. Marriage and a family has it's season in my life and I need to remember that if I trust the Lord with my salvation I can certainly trust Him with my heart and desires.

Wedding

My Buddy Fro got married today to my gal-pal Jenia today. :D
I was a groomsmen in their wedding and it was a lot of fun. We danced and ate food and danced some more. A good time with new and old friends is always great thing. This doodle is when us groomsmen were sitting around waiting for the girls to get Jenia ready.

We all have a ministry, let us shake off our apathy and spread the wings the Lord gave us and fly for Him. May we be good and faithful stewards.

Church Notes | Spirt Meets Flesh

As humans we are a hybrid of flesh and spirit, we have one foot in the physical world and the other foot in the spiritual world. It is important for us to remember that when it comes to sex and romantic relationships. Its not just your body that you are giving them. The Lord has a design and plan for sex. We need to remember that.

FIrst Live Frankie Friday!

We had fun drawing, and I recorded 17 minuets of me drawing a cartoon Hogwarts. LOL Opps. It all started with a drawing of Moochka, and then she saw John. Then I drew Hogwarts, and then the smoke monster attacked Hogwarts. And we ended the night with and evil Arnold the Pygmepuff.
