Thorns
Being blessed with The Wings of Salvation
To soar on the powerful gusts of grace
I still, through my flesh, seduce my soul into avoiding the heavens.
Foolishly gliding back down to my old paths,
Where with the thorns and the brier I get tangled in my past.
Inspired by Mark 4:7
A verse that, sadly, rang very true with my heart.
Lord help me shed these vines.
To soar on the powerful gusts of grace
I still, through my flesh, seduce my soul into avoiding the heavens.
Foolishly gliding back down to my old paths,
Where with the thorns and the brier I get tangled in my past.

Thanks Sydney
I know its not a drawing, but how could I not post about this? It is still art! The beautiful and precocious Sydney Mulholland sent me a lovely hand made valentine!
It brought a smile to mine face!
P.S. It seems that February is a heavy blog month for me, I wonder why that is. The last two years each February has 13 posts, the most of all the months. To top it off we are only halfway through the month and this is my 11th post.

Life Group Scribbles
I did these next few doodles during my small bible study group. The syrian and espresso drawings are from last week and the random room doodles are from two days ago. Like I mentioned before, doodling helps me concentrate.
Starbuck... I love her coffee!
Some of the aforementioned coffee.
And topped off by drawings of the most awesome room I have seen in ages. This might just be the nerd in me but I swear this is how Deloris Umbridge would decorate her living room if she was not evil and obsessed with cats. It was horribly beautiful!

Subbing Day 2
I did these while subbing. I am enjoying doing these fancier and more elaborate "doodles" on scrap material. If I get enough pieces I may try and do a little show somewhere, And the theme will be "green" b/c I'm "recycling" waste and discarded things into art. It's just an idea... I dunno.
Any who here be the doodles in the order I doodled them.

Blog Roll
Last year when my blog reached the age of one he got a very special birthday present. Know what it was? Corporeal form! Form that day on I said I would help my friends blogs take shape as well! This past weekend I was finally able to muster up enough strength to do it. It's funny how motivating football and cookies can be.
This is Brandon my brothers Blog.
He too is fond of wicker hats.
This is Ryan Agadonis blog.
He too is fond of monkeys... he is a blog-monkey.
This is Jon Schnecks blog.
He too can rock-out on the banjo.
This Shane Mulhollands blog.
He also like to talk about movies and is fond of the Olympics.
This is Andrea Mulhollands blog.
She too knows how to sew it up nice and good.
This is Matt Curtis' blog.
He too likes to take pictures of nature.
This is Amy Curtis' blog.
She too is fond of the knitting.
And this is a more personalized version of my blog.
Well in fact when blogs get to be two years and four days old they take on the characteristics of thier creators :)
I bet you didn't know that. :P

Pixie The Coffee Drinker
The project was to take a picture of something modern or "everyday" and weave something sci-fi or fantasy into it. So I made up this litte gal, she is a pixie and she is checking her myspace. It cant get any more mundane than that.
Oh she is a huge coffee drinker, witht he magic i the world depleeting at the rate that it is, she has to turn to caffene to give her the energy she needs to fly about.
